Rutland County Council fit speed indicators Burley Road
I notice many drivers do slow down as they see this new sign, more so for this one, the sign coming from town is not visible until until the driver has passed the bend.
The speed limit along Burley Road is 30 mph and drops to 20 mph when the school opens and closes, this is indicated by other new warning signs. I am sure this will help reduce the chances of a child's death if they are hit by a passing car because they have to walk in the road, because an inconsiderate parent from either school has parked on the pavement.
