The funerals of a former police inspector and his wife and daughter are to take place in Rutland next week.
It is believed Toby Day, 37, from Melton Mowbray, attacked Samantha and Genevieve, six, before killing himself.
The killings came just days after his being sacked from the Leicestershire force in December.
The funerals are to be held in Market Overton on 9 January. The service will be attended by family and close friends of the deceased.
The parish church of St Peter and St Paul in Market Overton is an attractive medieval church surrounded by lime trees and set within the boundaries of a Roman fort. Much of the church is 14th century, but a Victorian restoration revealed a Saxon tower arch, the only one in Rutland. The font is probably the most interesting feature; it has an Early English column capital inverted to form a base for a Norman bowl.
