The First Great British Mustard Bash
A celebration of mustard: It’s the condiment of kings, the piquant pick-me-up that turns boring bangers into superlative sausages. Mustard truly deserves its own festival and what better place for it that Scalford Hall near Melton Mowbray? Not only is it Colonel Colman’s old home, it is also located slap bang in the middle of pork pie and Stilton country. In many ways there couldn’t be a more fitting location for Britain’s first Mustard Bash. As far as we know, this is the first event of its
kind in Britain, and we hope it can grow, flourish and become a jewel in the region’s food crown.
There are some great prizes up for grabs if you want to try out making some Great British Mustart. All you have to do is make your mustard and deliver it in person or post - more details on the website linke above.
