Lands' End Clothing | landsend.co.uk has donated to Oakham Diamond Jubilee Celebrations the sum of £400 this will be used to pay for Town Councils planned party to be held in Cutts Close Oakham.

The event is not being organised by The Town Partnership as incorrectly publish in the last edition of the Rutland Times. The Town partnership maybe organising a car boot sale on the same day.

£5,000 is being funded by the local tax payer, it was announced at the council meeting a further sums totally £1000 has been given as sponsorship.

There will be various art projects for young people, which will include prizes
