Oakham Town Council Announces Highlight of The Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations


The Diamond Jubilee Party will be held in Cutts Close 


5th June 2012


Start time 1.00pm official events ending at 7.00pm


The main band will be Wrinkle Rock.


The highlight of the day will give the public the chance to seek ultimate revenge. Councillor Joyce Lucas will be locked in Stocks.


If you adore her gossiping tongue or have been annoyed by her rantings in the Rutland Times, I know there are a lot of innocent angry dog owners out there. 

If you adore her for closing your favourite school when she was a county councillor, this is a chance not to be missed. 

If your a young person who has fallen victim to that sharp tongue for being a little naughty litterer or worse, then start saving your pocket money. 

Fortunately for Cllr Lucas only water can be used and this will be limited by how far you are willing to dig into your purses and wallets to donate to her chosen charity.

For those who can't make it I will be happy to pass on a good soaking, by proxy in return for a donation to Councillors chosen charity.

I hope to have replaced my camera which some one relieved me of,  by then. it will be a photograph to treasure. :-)
