Sam Day, Genny Day, Toby Day Memorial Service Oakham Rutland Covered by BBC, ITV , Melton Times, Leicester Mercury

Today Thursday 16th February 2012  a service to celebrate the lives of Samantha Emma Day and Genevieve Ruth Day and former Leicestershire Constabulary Inspector Toby Day was led by Canon Lee Francis-Dehqani.
The service was attended by over 300 friends and family. There are no images of the surviving children to respect their privacy, They look well despite the tragic circumstances they suffered on the 8th December 2010 at their Melton Home.

A tribute was given by Darren Smith.
There was time for reflection including The Dragonfly Story read by Reverend Audrey Atkinson.

Early Years Nursery where Sam Day worked

No seating was reserved for Leicestershire Constabulary 
those members of the constabulary or retired attended
out of uniform, a uniformed officer said the Constabulary 
was keeping a low profile and dashed off into the distance.

Regular readers will know I have a naughty sense of 
humour and deliberately took the above to show
Canon Lee's support for one united church.

Oakham after a local woman was arrested for 
having sex on a Dubai beach.
