Peter Lawson High Sheriff of Rutland Farewell

each year a new High Sheriff is appointed.

Peter Lawson's term ended yesterday 2011/12

So its farewell to a friendly gentleman who did not mind me photographing him
in his rather frilly outfit at events throughout the year and we must not forget his
wife who attended many events beside him. I shall say he was as good
as Elizabeth Mills who was our High Sheriff for the period of 2009/2010

And certainly much better than the rude individual who served before him.
A former Clerk and friend of our Town Clerk.
