Cottesmore Jubilee Celebrations
Saturday June 2nd
There will be a wonderful village event in Cottesmore on Saturday 2nd of June from 12 noon onwards to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
This is a free day for villagers and their children
Included is
Quad bikes to ride
Fire Engine
Police car
Bouncy slide
Memorabilia stall
Punch and Judy shows
Hats and crowns competition
Wandering minstrel
Children's fun races from 2 till 4 ( egg & spoon, Sack races, Obstacle,relay races and tug of war included)
Engraved medals and badges awarded to race winners and runners up
Souvenir mugs given out to children
Traditional Children's tea party at 4pm including jelly and ice cream
Evening entertainment at 7.30 with Bob Holloway (keyboard/singer 40 years west end experience !!!) and fish and chip supper
Ploughmans lunches will be on sale from 12pm at cost price
The Social club bar will be open for drinks to be paid for
The evening do is ticket only at £5 to cover Fish and Chips
The Parish Council have funded this event
Organisers would like people to wear RED WHITE and BLUE to get into the spirit of things.
