Members of the Melton Mowbray & District Model Engineering Society are hosting their annual Open Days on Saturday and Sunday 2nd and 3rd June at the Whissendine Sports Club Ground, Melton Road,
Whissendine from 10.30am until 5.00pm on both days. Admission is free and there is ample free parking.
Steam and diesel locomotives will be giving train rides on our miniature railway, there will be over thirty miniature traction engines - some giving rides - and displays of model engineering and model aircraft. Modellers from all over the country - from Kent to Yorkshire - will be attending. Refreshments will be available.
