What's the problem with disposables?
Around
8 million disposable nappies are used in Britain every day - that's
almost 3 billion a year. Most of these nappies end up in landfill
sites, big holes in the ground, where rubbish is buried. Dumping nappies
in landfill sites costs Leicestershire taxpayers over £250,000 each
year, a cost that will continue to rise.It doesn’t have to be this way
we do have a choice!
