Melton Mowbray's Regal Cinema Campaign to Save Cinema

Melton Mowbray's Regal Cinema closed last month and is due to be put into voluntary liquidation today (Thursday 12 July).

Apart from Rutland County Councils loss making attempt of a cinema at the county museum the nearest cinema to Oakham will be the Peterborough Showcase; a 50 mile round trip and at least 1 1/2 hours in the car.


Melton Mowbray People is supporting a campaign to find people who are interested in trying to save the Regal and you can contact them at meltonmowbray@thelocalpeople.co.uk.
