what assessment she has made of the humanitarian situation in Arakan
State, Burma, since 1 June 2012; and if she will make a statement.

According to the Rakhine (Arakan) State Government
there are now a total of 69,551 Internally Displaced People in Sittwe,
Maungdaw and Kyauktaw. At the request of the Government, humanitarian
agencies are providing assistance and operating in line with the
humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and
independence. Priority sectors agreed upon by United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations include shelter, food, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, and protection.
