September will see Savvi Travel opening their first retail shop in Oakham, Rutland. based in the The Maltings on Mill Street. selling luxury Travel, Holidays from Mark Warner,If Only, Sandals,Celebrity Cruises and Beachcomber holidays.

Good to see a travel agents opening up in town again Meadows World travel recently closed its Oakham Branch due to the manager deciding to cut costs working on-line and from home.

The Co-operative Travel moved back temporarily after the fire, this outlet moved back out of town once the new store was opened.

Residents of Dean Street Oakham Clean Up After Another Weekend of fun for late night revellers.
More plant pots were destroyed through out the street.

Only this week Oakham Town Councils Mayor Councillor Lucas said if you chose to live in the town you have to put up with late night noise and anti social behaviour.

I don't agree and neither do the residents, why should residents have to put up with this week after week?
