PCSO's Leicestershire Constabulary in silly winter hats

A very cold night, thankfully it was dry this year. 

The crowd was as big as ever, I imagine it is due to financial pressures that there was a large crowd of spectators outside this year.

Mr Gray from Rutland Lions came out to collect donations, of course asking Mr Brookes, do you have any money? If I had the money I would have gone inside the ground, I think it was wrong for the Lions to come outside begging and especially asking me by name. 

I purchased my poppy for remembrance Sunday today a much better cause.

The Lions Club of Rutland will be holding their 34th Annual Firework Display on Saturday 6th November at Oakham Rugby Club, with gates opening at 6.30pm and the first of two displays commencing at 7pm.

A special children’s display will feature ground and mid-level fireworks, and not be too hard on sensitive young ears, whilst the full family display will comprise awesome, large calibre, big-bang, mid and high level category 4 fireworks.

Alongside the fireworks will be the usual refreshments of burgers and hot-dogs as well as hot and cold drinks. Tickets cost £3.50 on the gate or can be purchased in advance for £3.00 at Ford’s of Oakham, Gates Nurseries at Cold Overton, or Uppingham Sports & Books
