£19 million Bank Statements Rutland County Council Helen Briggs Chief Executive Refused Obtained VIA FOI

The public asked to see the bank statements relating to £19,000,000 of public money invested by Rutland County Council.

Cllr Terry King (Conservative) said this week "the rates are the best the best we can get  and the council was being prudent with the money"

Rutland County Council Sent the following in a file I had to spend some time trying to work out how to crack it so I could publish the content.

If you click on a image you can enlarge it.

I and other are concerned to see the cash strapped Rutland County Council is loaning money to the London Borough of Brent £2,000,000 at an interest rate of 0.50%

I must pop up to RCC for a loan. http://martinbrookes.blogspot.com/2011/02/london-borough-of-brent-council-owes.html

At First the Chief Executive Helen Briggs told the member of the public they could not see the statement.
After some publicity she ranted of a email saying they would receive copies.

You will notice none of the statements provide transaction details. They are all more like balance notifications.
