Santa Visits Oakham see Father Christmas at Rutland County Museum Today and Oakham Castle
Santa is visiting Rutland County Museum today and he will be visiting Oakham Castle Monday, late night shopping.

Adam Lowe was co-opted on to the Council in December 2010
He worked at RAF Cottesmore in the 80's and is now the Branch Manager at a local builder's merchants.
He enjoys helping out and supporting the local community and has used some of his spare time in recent years working as a Special Constable and volunteer worker at Rutland County Museum.
The rest of his spare time is taken up with DIY and research into his family tree and local history.
Cllr Lowe is married with three daughters, and he is extremely grateful for the support his family has given him.

Councillor Alan Walters has resigned as a member for Oakham North East.
Councillor Alan Walters has resigned as a member for Oakham North East.
As the resignation is within 6 months of the date of the next local government elections
(May 5th 2011) no election will be held.
The Town Council will decide at its meeting to be held on Wednesday 15th December whether it will co-opt a new member.
Members of the public are asked to note that the Town Council is not legally obliged to co-opt in this circumstance.
TOWN COUNCIL MEETING 15TH DECEMBER 2010Members of the public are asked to note that the meeting on the 15th December will start at 7.30pm.
