Oakham came FIRST in the East Midlands In Bloom competition and received a Gold certificate with 179 points
Every one was congratulating Cllr Dodds last night, lets not forget she does n't do any work, the success of Oakham in Bloom is down to the hard working volunteers like those photographed below who work in all weather to make our town look as good as it does. I am sure we will of course see a photograph once again in the press showing those from both councils photographed next to this plaque. It is about time we recognised the people who actually deserve to be recognised.
