Open letter to Oakham Town Councillor Alf Dewis
Dear Councillor Alfred Dewis,
It was with some satisfaction that I recently heard from another Councillor, you are circulating a letter asking Councillors to censure me, yet again at the next Council meeting.
Satisfaction? - you may well ask certainly this latest craven plot appears to suggest that your standards complaint against me has failed miserably, yet again. although I am not aware of its outcome.
When will you put as much effort into carrying out your duties as a Councillor as you do in trying, to prevent me from carrying out my duties?
If you had any respect for the democratic processes you might have had the courtesy to inform me of what you are orchestrating for this Wednesday's Council Meeting, instead of hearing vague details from another Councillor who feels you are childish.
However as is usual with cowardly Machiavelli's, you have chosen to lead your troops from the rear and ensure that you take cover behind them all when the flak flies!!
Your actions are a disgrace to local governance and this also suggests you have something to hide?
Yours sincerely
Martin Brookes (Oakham Town Councillor Oakham South East)
