Saturday 3rd March at 7.30pm
A Celebration of Rutland: A story of Rutland’s past, present and future inspired by the children who live here.
The evening will take the audience on a magical tour of Rutland, giving glimpses into past and present events that have helped to shape Rutland into the unique county that exists today, through the form of song, dance and music. The main focus is the premier of a specially composed musical work based on poems entitled ‘Multum In Parvo’ that have been written by local school children. The concert finale will be a collaborative performance of this work, incorporating all performers, in a celebration of Rutland.
This project is part of BBC Music Nation, a countdown event to the London 2012 Festival, the finale of the Cultural Olympiad.
£6 per ticket - available from www.rutland.gov.uk/live@themuseum
Doors open 30 minutes before stated event times
