Ride to Remember in memory of Bryan Moore and Andy Munn. Leicestershire Police Cycle London to Paris East Midlands Air Ambulance

As a fitting tribute to mark the 10 anniversary of the deaths of Police Constables Bryan Moore and Andy Munn, 10 police officers from Leicestershire are cycling 400 miles to Paris in 4 days, starting on Friday 11 May at the memorial at Donington Moto Services and finish at the French National Police Memorial on the Champs Elysees in Paris via the British Police Memorial in London to lay a wreath.
PC Moore and PC Munn lost their lives on 15 August 2002 whilst trying to stop a driver on the A42 who had been pursued from Birmingham into Leicestershire. They both worked from local Shepshed Police Station. Their deaths have had a devastating effect on their families, their colleagues and the local area and their loss continues to be felt to this day.
Sponsorship from the event will help provide vital financial support for the East Midlands Air Ambulance, which relies entirely on voluntary donations to provide a life-saving service to the people of Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Rutland.
Donating through this  http://www.justgiving.com/ridetoremember2012 is simple, fast and totally secure.
