How to Access Blocked Blogs and Sites using Rutland County Council Computers use a proxy server

Rutland County Council continue to block my blog on all their computers.

They lie about the possible uses of council computers, in the past they told me it s not possible for users to use proxy servers on any Council Computers.

So can they explain the photograph below taken yesterday, this is a council computer and my blog has been accessed. I don't object to this but I do object to this Councils constant lies. The people who misbehave know how to use proxy servers and do, so the continued block is only effecting decent well behaved members of the public.

So for those who ask me how you can view my blog at Rutland Library's and others sites Rutland County Council censors I suggest you type proxy server into any search engine and gain the freedom of the net you pay for and entitled to use. Happy Surfing!

Dear Mr Brookes

Further to your complaint (email dated 31st January 16:14).

I should like to start by apologising for the fact that the block on members of the public being able to access your blog from the computers in the library has been implemented without you having been informed in advance.

However, I am satisfied that it is the correct action for the Council to take in the circumstances.  You will recall that towards the end of last year we did ask whether you would like public access to be blocked in response to what both you and Council officers considered to be highly inappropriate and offensive material being uploaded when there was some reason to believe that the material was being posted from the library computers.  After initially supporting the idea, you quickly changed your mind, which you were quite entitled to do.  At that time the way in which the internet service was provided to the library would have made it difficult to arrange for the blocking of the website, so we complied with your request.

Mr Pook did advise you at that time that we were intending to install new arrangements which would enable the Council's own IT team to regulate access more directly.  It is the completion of that installation which has led to the blocking of access.  From the Council's point of view it is considered that some of the content which you are posting yourself is defamatory of certain individuals connected with the County Council, especially officers.  Further, enabling continued unrestricted access by the public risks the addition of yet more undesirable material of the type which you too have said you would like to cease.

Access is now blocked also as far as the wireless network in the Catmose meetings area is concerned.  The combination should eliminate the scope for  material offensive to you being posted by any association with the Council's systems, a development which I imagine you would welcome.

How the Rutland Conservatives Celebrated the Royal Wedding with drunkenness and acts of gross indeceny from the ladies, Jays Close Oakham

Rutland County Council Election Candidate Jim Harrison former
Oakham Mayor and Town Councillor enjoys filming the
drunken woman ex Oakham Town Councillor Sue Tyers exposing all in Jay Close,
Oakham Rutland
the edited video can be seen on his youtube site.

A disgusted resident has contacted me and asked me to look at how Rutland Conservatives Celebrated the Royal Wedding, drunkenness and Gross indecency from the ladies who attended.

The whole event was filmed and enjoyed by former Oakham Mayor Jim Harrison and currently standing as a Independent Candidate in the Rutland County Council Elections  for the Oakham South West Ward.

The garden party was also attend by former Town Councillor Sue Tyers and her husband Kieth Tyers.

Mr Tyers is the thug who calls me worse than paedophile and assaulted me last week. I don't here him complaining about the woman disgracefully bearing all in front of many local young children. Maybe he considers this educational?

I am suggesting Inspector Johnny  Monks at Oakham police station views, Candidate Jim Harrison's full video and prosecute all those woman who conducted these acts of gross indecency.

respectable guests lined up to be filmed by Former Oakham Mayor
and Election Candidate Jim Harrison

They have the cheek to attack me and say I make things up about the drunken behaviour of these local dignatories and they are so confident no one is going to deal with them they now post their own disgusting behaviour on-line.

Midlands Gay MP takes seat in House

The Midlands has its first openly gay MP in the house of Commons

We have our own in The East Midlands.

Margot James is the second 'out' lesbian to be elected to parliament after winning the Stourbridge seat for the Conservatives.

The only other openly gay woman in parliement is Angela Eagle, Labour MP for Wallasey.

I hope they are not seen in gay bars celebrating by Dewis or Lucas

Does it really matter if they are out?

I think not....
