Fire at Grainstore Brewery Oakham Burns Night
It appears there was a fire on the premises on Saturday (Burns Night) the Brewery hopes to have the place cleaned up and ready for customers Tuesday evening.
It has been reported on Twitter, the Grainstore Brewery burned down last night. You can see from the photo above the bar looks in good order, although you can smell the smoke.
Apparently the a fire was in the kitchen area. A passing member of the public says he saw a person receiving treatment for smoke inhalation. Three appliances attended and remained for quite a few hours,
The Grainstore had planned A Burns night themed evening, it is not known if this has been transferred to Tuesday Burns day.

Rutland Beer Festival The Grainstore Oakham
The Annual Rutland Beer Festival.
The Rutland Beer Festival held at The Grainstore Brewery, brings together a wide range of real ales from around the UK. Featuring over seventy Real Ales with an array of golden ales, stouts, bitters, porters and barley wines we also offer a wide selection of traditional ciders.

There’s live entertainment and barbecues every day.
Opening Times:
August Bank Holiday weekend
Thursday 5pm until Midnight
Friday 11am until 1.30am
Saturday 11am until 1.30am
Sunday 11am until 1am
Monday 11am until Midnight
Admission is free. There is a deposit of £2.50 on a commemorative festival glass, which is yours to keep, or return for a full refund.
