PUBLIC CONSULTATION

9.1 The proposal to implement All pay was included within the public consultation
that has recently been undertaken on the budget proposals. The public
were asked to give their views on 7 budget areas which could deliver
savings by voting for the proposal they most strongly agreed should be
implemented. Of the 311 public responses received, 60 (19%) voted in
favour of this proposal and the general feedback was positive.

9.2 Further communication and promotion of the changes to the public will
continue over the next few months. The impact of the changes will be
monitored throughout the year.

Arts Council Grant £100,000 Rutland County Council Arts For Rutland

Rutland County Council was very pleased to receive £100,000 grant from the Arts Council last year.


Cllr Peter Jones said Rutland was unlikely to receive a grant this year.


I wonder why?


We are stuck £37,000 of plastic.


In other parts of the country the Artists have been asked to contribute towards the cost of the disposal of the plastic.


Arts for Rutland has charitable status so does not have to declare how public money is spent.


But they have kindly provided the following information, to show how they spent your money.


I won't make any further comment, because I don't enjoy being threatened by Cllr Peter Jones friends.


I will say I wondered how Catmose College raised fund.

Student Photographers are a very common sight in leicester, I spotted these two up on a bridge and then took a quick snap passing over the bridge.whilst they were looking for another subject.

Internet censorship in the People's Republic of Rutland  There are no specific laws or regulations which the censorship follows. Censorship is vigorously implemented by Rutland County Council.

Rutland County Council has chosen to block access to my blog at blogspot.com. I did not object to Rutland County Council blocking staff access. I do object to them blocking access on via the public computers at the County Library.

I consider this infringement of freedom of expression, infringement on free speech.


I visited Rutland County Council for an explanation and a helpful receptionist telephoned a person and explained.


A lady came out and told me what I knew! Yes Mr Brookes the Council has blocked your blog.


I ask why? I was told to write to Helen Briggs.


I said I had. She told me she was the officer responsible for council business, I asked for a brief description of that role she replied Council Business and turn her back and walk away. How rude!

I tracked her down and this is her office she is under the clock.
