Wireless Nights Oliver Julian - BBC Radio 4 Are you a member of a particularly active Neighbourhood Watch?

The BBC has now received adequate response to this request

Oliver Julian - BBC Radio 4

Are you a member of a particularly active Neighbourhood Watch? Do you or any of your members have a rota to patrol your streets to keep everyone safe at night?

We're looking for someone just like that to take part in a new programme for BBC Radio 4. The series,Wireless Nights, is a new four-part series for the station that paints a picture of the UK by night. We are telling the stories of people from across the UK who are still awake whilst the majority of us are tucked up in bed. Whether that is a taxi driver, a security guard, a pilot or a farmer in lambing season we are trying to get an image of Britain in the dark.
We really want to tell the story of the UK's Neighbourhood Watches. We'd be looking to come with you on a night time patrol of your neighbourhood and talk to you about why you do it and perhaps hear of any peculiar, funny or heart warming experiences you might have had along the way.

Wireless Nights will go out later in the year on BBC Radio 4 and we are looking to record our interviews over the next few weeks. We've already started and would love to try and come to see you over the next fortnight.
If you think you would like to be involved or just want some more information about the programme before you make up your mind please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. We'd love to hear from you.
