Conservative Councillor Peter Jones, Stolen Swan back in place, thanks to Inspector Monks  and his swan hunting team.

A few weeks ago Conservative Councillor Peter Jones found his swan had been stolen from the front of his shop. He telephoned Oakham Inspector Johnny Monks who sent out his crack team of Swan hunters headed by PC Sue Cockerill (4074), The team of officers thankfully found the swan a few hours later in a nearby garden. Inspector Monks was not very pleased when he spoke to the Leicester Mercury and said arrest were imminent.

Some people are lucky to get a crime number if they loose car stereo or a cycle of much more value.

As another Shop closed its doors in Mill Street Oakham, I wonder if Conservative Rutland Councillor Peter Jones, can still stand up and speak for all local traders and say the town is doing well? He only speaks to a few, the others won't give him the time of day, I wonder why? Each time I have the pleasure of seeing Mr Jones the phrase "if looks could kill" comes to mind.

Cllr Joyce Lucas is not only a Oakham Town Councillor she is a member of Rutland County Councils Standards Committee.

In a signed document she states people at her first meeting in the council chamber were calling me a paedophile.

She  lies and says she has never called me this or lead people to believe this.

She refuses to name those who do, I believe this is a breach of the code of conduct and make a mockery of the local standards board.

I ask Standards for England to investigate.

Cllr Joyce Lucas should resign.

She is a disgrace, I wish more people would speak out and get rid of her. They happily tell me what they think of her but that is not enough.

Last year Rutland County Councillor Peter Jones advised me to save up my small complaints about her.
He said he could not stand the busy body, she always goes over the top, Her and her bloody trees.

Cllr Lucas is not a Conservative is this why the standards referred my last complaint to standards for england thinking it was finally a way of getting rid of her?

Outside Oakham Co-op Superstore plenty of supporters here.

It cant be proved this is electioneering by the Tories, but is does seem to lack any visual support from the Lib Dems or Independents.

The Tory controlled non political council? whatever that means? I will leave that to Conservative leader Roger Begy to explain.

The public are being asked to vote for two of seven budget cuts Rutland County Council wish to impose.

From cutting to school costs, buses, health care cost for the elderly and vulnerable by doubling contribution payments and sacking library staff.....

I would like to know who dreamt this up at the council?

Councillor Heather Wells Conservative, described locally as the portfolio holder for wrecking local young peoples educations and future prospects? attempts to persuade a couple of shoppers to vote for cuts in services.

Councillor Peter Jones Conservative if he's not got his hands in his pockets, he's either using the i phone or i pad. The coat has seen better days?

Has withdrawn his application to be co-opted onto Oakham Town Council

I was hoping he would bring some of experience to the shambles that is Oakham Town Council.

One thing you can say good about Rutland County Council is they know how to conduct meetings correctly.

Its a pity he has withdrawn.

Maybe he was advised to steer clear and not be part of its inevitable collapse!

Or maybe he just did not want to be told what to do by the bullies!
