Twelve Days of Christmas Katie Marshall Duets with Rob Persani Standing in for Julian Ovenden from Downton Abbey
Katie who is a Catmose College student sings this track with Julian Ovenden on the Christmas at Downton Abbey Album.
It was also Katie's 14th Birthday, Happy Birthday.
Unfortunately Julian Ovenden could not join Katie at last nights Christmas shopping event, so Rob Persani from Rutland Radio stood in for him.
It was such a shame the Town Partnership hid the main stage away in the darkness near the
buttercross.

Rutland Radios, Rob Persani, Supports Oakham Christmas Tree Campaign, "Mangled out the back of a Ford Fiesta"
Over 500 residents are using Facebook to highlight the poor costly decorations each year provided by
Oakham Town Council.
Rob Persani Rutland Radio's best and oldest presenter has given his support to the campaign to get the tree sorted. On his breakfast show this morning he described the tree as looking as if it had been mangled out of the back of a Ford Fiesta.
Well done to Rob and the others who are speaking out.
For far too many years, I have sat in at Town Council meetings a listened to them patting each other on the back, fooling themselves into believing they had done a good job. During the time I have lived here in Oakham they have spent over £100,000 attempting to decorate our town. They refuse to listen to the justified criticism.
The town Clerk Richard White often saying "we don't do much but what we do, we do well"
Cllr Adam Lowe said "I am aware of the page"
Last year Cllr Lowe was Mayor and his big pledge was to improve the decorations.
He succeeded in arranging a decent tree. This was helped after Lite Ltd incorrectly decorated the
tree with blue lights, leaving those on the tree they added the white lights.
Cllr Alan Walter also said he has seen the Facebook page, and suggested there is likely to be a period of washing up at some point.
Oakham's Deputy Mayor Cllr Alf Dewis, said There are a lot of strange people on-line and I should know, when I attempted to point out to him people comment about the council lack of professionalism.
Rob said the tree is a gift from the Rotary, it is not wholly a gift from them anymore the tax payer pays £200 to the Rotary and has done for three years to provide a decent tree.
The Rotary used to receive a personal donation for the tree from one former member, this was withdrawn three years ago.
The Charity Commission rules forbid the Rotary from using their charitable received donations in this way, so they now rely on an undisclosed sum collected from members to provide a tree along with the £200 from the Town Council.

Shore Link Bus, Rutland Radio, Rob Persani, Rutland County Council,
This morning Rob Persani caught the new Shore Link bus service. From outside the Rutland radio Studio at 9.00am. this morning.
Once again this week the local gutter press is full of letters from unhappy Exton village residents.
Exton
Rutland County Council have made alterations to a road junction.
Residents are unhappy with this.
I often see the bus passing through Oakham empty.
The pollution caused by this large bus must be vast. Is this what is meant by sustainable transport?
This week week I was visiting the village of Egleton, one of Rutland"s fine small villages.
Egleton (recently the brick base of the sign has been removed)
I admired the skill of the driver as he navigated his empty bus very around the tight bends of the narrow village roads.
I wonder if who ever planned the daft and dangerous route gave any consideration to the hundreds of tourists who hire bikes from Rutland Cycling and use the same route?

Rob Persani Rutland Radio and Dog Warden Barry Briggs Rutland County Council Dog Show
Dog Warden Barry Briggs Rutland County Council and
Rob Persani has been with Rutland Radio since day one, and for most for it waking up Stamford and Rutland. He loves helping to start your day, and says it’s great to get out and meet the listeners too, so if you’re up to anything special at work or in your free time, let him know. The strangest thingRob has done here is probably to be sent out in a boat blindfolded for the Friday Challenge, the most special is being at all the award ceremonies where we’ve been recognised, and there have been quite a few over the years. I live in Stamford, and I think this is a really special area to live and work in, it’s not just the beautiful surroundings, it’s also the people who live here too, and so many of them listen to us! http://www.rutlandradio.co.uk/
