McDonald's A Taste Of Quality Catmose College Oakham Rutland Product Placement
McDonald's A Taste of Quality, this weekend I will be learning all that is needed to know about McDonalds
If brands were permitted in my school days, I think this pack would have been supplied by Wendy's, Wimpy or Burger King

Catmose College Oakham Rutland County Council Great Give Away and Data Protection Breaches
Catmose College Oakham Rutland County Council Great Give Away and Data Protection Breaches
Today the old Catmose College was opened to the public so they could take away items in return for small donations to charity.
It was pointed out to me the school should have shredded some documents containing many personal details of children, the above documents are an example and have the names hidden and have since been destroyed many more documents remain in files littering the building and in some cases removed from the school in furniture taken by the public. There is also a large quantity of photographs on site.
Complete records with signatures from the HSBC School bank branch.
Catmose College said nothing left on the premises was of any commercial value. This what not the thoughts of many people who had travelled from Stamford hired vans, they were discussing the profit they expect to make from the afternoons visit.
I must say I am pleased there will be less waste, but it is important to remember this is tax payers money.
One group removed some very valuable items which will be shipped to an African Charity Project.
some one decided to place this art work in the bin, the photograph illustrates the quality of the furniture saved from landfill.
People arrived all afternoon with van, trucks and trailers.
There was lots of new stationary
An old style Catmose College Tie
Below is a small example of a few of the items, I acquired I can not see how the school can say these mostly new items have no value to them.

I also found a Teachers Resource Pack in mint condition containing DVD's
I spoke to a member of Council staff and said I intended to research the
value and publish details. The member of staff said Mrs Briggs would not
be happy with that information was made public. So far my research suggests
it is most likely to cost around £200
The member of staff told me the mountain of new exercise books are going to another school.

Stamford Homes Cold Overton Road Oakham, Rutland County Council Development Control
A meeting of the DEVELOPMENT CONTROL AND LICENSING COMMITTEE will be held in the Council Chamber, Catmose, Oakham on Tuesday 8 March 2011 commencing at 6.00pm to decide if permission will be granted for 125 homes on the old Vale of Catmose College site, Cold Overton Road Oakham. Planning officers are recommending approval and as you can see from the photograph Stamford Homes are very confident they will be granted approval. Despite very strong objection made by Oakham Town Council. Another sign of how week our town council is.
.
I am surprised Waitrose has not erected a sign like this at the College site.
Past Comments regarding the development made by Oakham Town Councillors
Clr Charles Haworth and Cllr Joyce Lucas of Oakham Town Council said they don't want a ghetto on their doorsteps and Cllr Alf Dewis describing Stamford Homes previous building work here in Oakham a disgrace and shoddy.
