Ruby chocolate - which is naturally pink
Ruby chocolate was first unveiled in China by the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate products.
It is made from the Ruby cocoa bean which has an intense fruity taste and characteristic pinkish colour.
The pink hue comes after the beans have gone through a unique process to unlock flavour and colour tones.
The distinctive cocoa beans are grown across the world including the Ivory Coast, Ecuador and Brazil.
Its invention is the work of researchers from choc giant Barry Callebaut, based in France and Belgium .

To create the Ruby chocolate no berries, berry flavour or colour are added to the recipe.
Nestlé has covered their iconic KitKat with Ruby chocolate and they are available to buy in Tesco from Monday, April 16.
Nestlé has launched more than 350 different variants of KitKat, including green tea, wasabi and cherry blossom versions.
