Misconduct hearing outcome for former Leicestershire Police Constable Kenneth Fricker, Drone operator.

Misconduct hearing outcome for former Police Constable Kenneth Fricker

A former Leicestershire police constable has been found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour.

An accelerated misconduct hearing held this week, which was chaired by Chief Constable Rob Nixon, found that on 14 October 2022, former PC Kenneth Fricker breached the standards of professional behaviour, namely duties and responsibilities; orders and instructions; honesty and integrity; and discreditable conduct.

Former PC Fricker was flying a force drone and, due to his handling, it crashed. Following this, former PC Fricker did not follow the correct procedure for reporting the damage to the drone and was subsequently dishonest in details given to fellow officers.

The hearing found that the actions of former PC Fricker amounted to gross misconduct and that had he still been employed in the force, he would have been dismissed without notice.

Chief Constable Nixon said: “The actions of former PC Fricker fell below the standards which are expected of police officers and amounted to gross misconduct.

“His actions undermined the relationship and trust with his colleagues and compromised the integrity of records. This placed a fellow drone pilot in a situation where they may have needed to deploy a drone with undisclosed damage.

“While I accept the actions of former PC Fricker were motivated in order to cover up a mistake and avoid criticism, it is rightly expected that an officer would tell the truth from the outset, irrespective of the circumstances.

“Former PC Fricker has admitted his actions and apologised for this and I feel disappointed to lose an officer of former PC Fricker’s experience.

“As I have previously stated, building and maintaining trust and confidence in our force remains a priority and we will continue to challenge any unacceptable behaviour which does not meet the professional standards which are rightly expected from us.”

Blossoms Restaurant and Piano Bar is a popular dining and drinking destination at Rutland Hall Hotel. The restaurant offers a modern British menu with a focus on local produce, while the piano bar is a great place to relax with a drink and listen to live music.

The restaurant is located in the hotel's main hall, which has been beautifully restored to its former glory. The décor is elegant and sophisticated, with teal walls, gold accents, and plush seating. The restaurant has a large open kitchen, where guests can watch the chefs at work.

The menu at Blossoms Restaurant features a wide variety of dishes, including starters such as roasted cauliflower with black truffle and parmesan, and mains such as pan-fried sea bass with fennel and citrus salad. There is also a dedicated vegetarian and vegan menu.

The crazy golf course at Rutland Hall Hotel was a popular attraction for guests and visitors alike. The course was set in the hotel's grounds, and featured a variety of obstacles, including windmills, bridges, and waterfalls. The course was also home to a number of challenging holes, which made it a popular choice for experienced golfers.

However, the crazy golf course was also in need of some TLC. The course is starting to show its age, and the obstacles were becoming worn and damaged. In addition, the course is located in a relatively secluded area of the hotel grounds, which makes it difficult to access for some guests.

As a result, the hotel has decided to replace the crazy golf course with a new adventure golf course. The new course will be located in a more central location. The new adventure golf course is scheduled to be completed in early 2024. The hotel is confident that the new course will be a popular attraction for guests and visitors alike.
