Homeless Shelter Oakham Rutland

Homeless Shelter Oakham Rutland

Homeless person asleep in the park this freezing morning.

Rutland County Council does not offer any help to homeless
people,

I hope this man does not freeze to death like the man found
in Birmingham frozen recently.

Rutland County Council does like to assist families of passing
them onto neighbouring counties.

They won't help single people. last year they had a local
homeless man sleeping on their own doorstep.

This Christmas, 120,000 children will be homeless

Oakham Christmas Tree Decorating

Oakham Christmas Tree Decorating

The town tree was decorated this morning with baubles.

The Mayor was in good spirits as he joked about the deputy Mayors balls dropping
perhaps a little bit late.

I was pleased to be able to assist the deputy Mayor reach the parts he could not reach.

Cllr Joyce Lucas walked past, good to see her removing her unlawful fly posting.
She was 82 yesterday.

The tree looks good now.
The lights will be switched on Monday at 6.30pm
