Police are appealing for information following the report of a Burglary in the Uppingham area this week.

Police are appealing for information following the report of a Burglary in the Uppingham area this week.
The burglary happened between 0830am and 1800pm on Monday 22nd of October in Bramble Close, Uppingham.  A laptop computer has been taken during the break.
“I would appeal to any witnesses to call police immediately.
“We will do all we can to keep residents in Rutland safe but there are also small things that you can do at home, such as keeping windows and doors locked and valuables out of sight. In addition if your have an alarm system fitted please use it.  These things go a long way to helping keep your home safe and secure.”
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC4289 Howarth on 101*, follow the instructions to leave a message for a police officer and when prompted key in the officer's identification number 4142.  Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, which is free** and anonymous, on 0800 555 111.
