Tesco Extra Kings Lynn Hardwick for its age the store looks quite tidy and clean. Like most stores the checkouts areas are grubby. When I worked for Tesco I used to clean the checkout area with a toothbrush, which some colleagues found amusing. I remember cleaning the area under the checkout once and found old coupons that had been there for 10 years. I think Tesco needs to think about redesigning checkout areas. current checkout areas have so many places that are traps for grime. A friend of mine was in Oakham the other day and a product got stuck between the belt and the plastic screen and they found the gap was filthy. This store had plenty of trolley full of litter discarded by customers.
