Leicestershire Chorale, Vox dicentis Clama, St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray, Director, Tom Williams

Vox Dicentis Clama

Tickets £10 (£12 on the door), £5 NUS, £1 under 19s,

Saturday 6 July 2013, 7.30pm
The turn of the Twentieth Century saw the beginning of a most fruitful period in English Choral writing. Composers including Hubert Parry, Edward Bairstow and Edward Elgar composed grand anthems for state occasions such as Coronations, Royal Weddings and Funerals. Many were orchestrated and performed on an even larger scale in subsequent concerts. Our concert programme contains some of the finest examples of the genre, such as Parry's epic Hear My Words, Bairstow's noble Blessed City and Naylor's dramatic Vox Dicentis.
Saturday 6 July 2013, 7.30pm • St. Mary's Parish Church, Melton Mowbray.

North Herts District Council ask people not to feed the ducks as it attracts vermin. I spotted a couple of very large fat rats floating dead under the bridge, I guess they ate to much bread!
