The Historic Water Chute Scarborough
The Historic Water Chute (1932) listed in 2017 It is one of only three left in the country, the others being the original one in Wicksteed Park, Kettering and Hull’s East Park. The ride is still so fast that it is used to test the accuracy of police speed guns.
The chute was designed and manufactured by philanthropist Charles Wicksteed
