Rutland County Council's Big Secret

I am told the big secret would be of interest to the national media.



Dear Rutland County Council

A few weeks ago a Rutland County Councillor told me
he and all councillors were summoned to a private meeting.
He also told me he wished he could tell me what was said.

Today I was approached by a former councillor who has been
told the same by another councillor. He was told if the subject
got out it would make the national press and all councillors have
been told to keep it quiet.

If these people are telling me the truth this is shocking. When
secrets are kept in a hope of covering up something they tend
to come out in the end and it would appear some members
are itching to let it out.

If the council has done something wrong should it not
let us all know?

I am surprised if the issue is as serious as suggested that
no Councillor feels they can speak about it. Have they
forgot the principles of public life?

Also this council has member sitting on the high street
twice a week protesting about cover ups and he can't
say anything, I think that is a little bit hypocritical.
