Remembrance Sunday, Marching to the pub, Oakham, Rutland, Photographs

Remembrance Sunday, Marching to the pub, Oakham, Rutland, Photographs

The final destination was changed this year. It is normal for those who
attend the church or the parade to enjoy a cup of tea in either the drill
hall or the church hall.

People were surprised this year Wetherspoon's pub was to be the venue.
Like myself many people decided not to go in.

The pub was once home for the Oakham Royal British Legion.

recognise that smell when out and about town.
