a secured vehicle was stolen from a private car park in West Road, Oakham.

Between 07/02/2017 17:00 & 08/02/2017 07:55 a secured vehicle was stolen from a private car park in West Road, Oakham. The vehicle is a Dark Blue Fiat Multipla and had 4 x stickers on it saying ‘Volunteer Driver’. There are currently no identifiable suspects, witnesses or CCTV.

On 06/02/2017 at 13:00 a distraction burglary was carried out at a dwelling in Chestnut Road, Oakham. Suspects x 2 knocked on the door and stated they were from the water board. When the door was opened they pushed past the occupant. Once inside a search was carried out. It is not believed at this time that any property was stolen. Enquiries are currently ongoing.

On 24/01/2017 at 14:35 a distraction burglary was carried out at a dwelling in Glen Drive, Oakham. Suspects x 2 knocked on the door and stated water pressure was wrong. When the door was opened they pushed past the occupant. Once inside an untidy search was carried out and property stolen. Enquiries are currently ongoing.

Between17/01/2017 22:00 & 18/01/2017 09:00 a burglary was carried out at a secured dwelling in Brooke Close, Oakham.

Entry has been gained to the rear of the property by forcing two separate side gates.

Once in the rear garden the lock of the patio doors leading into the kitchen has been completely removed by unknown means.

Once inside a selective search has been carried out of all the ground floor rooms including the attached garage.

No items are believed to have been stolen. Suspected that the offender(s) was looking for the keys to a brand new car that was parked on the driveway.

There are currently no identifiable suspects, witnesses or CCTV and enquiries are currently ongoing.

burglary secured dwelling in Edmonton Way, Oakham.

On the11/01/2017 at 03:00 a burglary was carried out at a secured dwelling in Edmonton Way,
Oakham.

Unidentified male attempted entry by forcing the lock barrel on the rear patio door.

The alarm activated and the suspect fled empty handed.

There are currently no identifiable suspects, witnesses or CCTV.

attempted theft/theft from vehicles in Kings Road, Oakham.



On the 10/11/2016 at 01:10 there was an attempted theft/theft from vehicles in Kings Road, Oakham.

Three unknown males were seen trying the door handles of a two secured vehicles parked on a driveway. Entry was unsuccessful but a vehicle badge was stolen from one of the vehicles. CCTV footage was made available and inquires are ongoing.

On the 10/11/2016 between 00:00 & 02:00 a burglary was carried out at a secured dwelling in Cold Overton Road, Oakham.

Car keys were taken and the vehicle, a silver Peugeot 206, parked on the driveway was stolen.

The vehicle has since been recovered and inquires are ongoing.

The Summer Show will be held on Saturday 23rd July 2016 at Oakham Church of England School, Burley Road, Oakham.

The Schedule has now been revised and issued. Most classes are unchanged; however, we have made changes to the Photographs section which now uncludes: “A Rose Portrait”, “A Landscape”, “A Gardener at Work”, A Sporting Event” and “A Garden in Spring.”

Free parking is available from 6pm in the council car park directly opposite the Wheatsheaf, entrance to car park off Church Street.

We will have a minutes silence prior to hearing songs from, or relating to war.

All welcome, especially Aussies, Kiwis, Turks and any members or ex members of the armed forces.

Thank you

Thank you to all my friends and decent residents in Oakham who have sent me messages of support.

Like  this one

"Why indeed, I have often thought that, but now , the bullies have won. And the elite club will continue, so wouldn't you always feel resentful, at least you will have more rime to tackle your overgrown front garden and less time on your blog . Less stress for you ."

Cheeky Young man my garden is not overgrown, its meant to be full of shrubs the birds love it.

I did do some light pruning yesterday.

Don't worry as a member of the public I can attend meetings and report on my findings.

I don't spend so much time on my blog for the last couple of weeks most posts have been created and stored and auto published.

I don't resent the experience, after attending meetings at Oakham Town Council and seeing how it should not be done and attending Rutland County Council meetings and finding correct procedure followed I would consider becoming a district councillor next May.
