David Burton or Oakytaxidriver on twitter

David Burton or Oakytaxidriver on twitter is a homophobic bully supporting local conservative town and County Councillors.

Many people will remember him from days he worked for Berridge Taxi, he now lives with his second wife in Wittering.

He seems to have an unhealthy obsession about me.

He tweeted this today http://protectyourvicar.blogspot.com/  he steals my images, the photographs of the clergy were mainly taken on Good Friday so they would hardly be smiling.
(i must correct him some church of england churches do have confessionals)

He also seems to get a kick out of promoting my gaydar profile. finding a partner using a website is certainly better than Mr Burton wife swapping antics. I wonder when he will trading in his second wife.

I have bee treated appallingly over the last two years by friends of a drunken conservative.

I cant understand why the local police have not visited him and least charged him with sending the obscene material via the post. He seems to have a large collection of my photographs on his pc. I am sure an inspection of his pc would link him to many of the activities that I have had to suffer.

Rutland County Councillor, Vijay Dighe, Conservative,  OAKHAM NORTH EAST WARD, is a litter bug

Whilst waiting at the reception of Rutland County Council I noticed Councillor Vijay Dighe returning to his car, before getting into his car he took paper from his pocket and threw into the flower bed.

He then started smoking he finished drove of and leaving the litter.

I went out and picked up his litter.

Conservative County Councillors like Mr Dighe seem to think rules don't apply to them, smoking outside the designated area in front of the Councils CCTV shows his complete contempt for the rules they enforce upon the staff and public.

Rutland Hippo's auction Officer’s Mess at St. George’s Barracks, North Luffenham. ABF The Soldiers' Charity with Julia Bradbury

Hippo Farewell Gala Dinner - 21st May 2011 - Time 7.30pm

The fibreglass sculptures that caused such a stir throughout the county last year and cost a staggering £37,000 plus are just three months away from going under the auctioneers hammer. There will be a chance to win a hippo for £10!

Joy Everett said, “We’ve decided to add a bit of fun to the event with a sealed £10 draw.  The lucky winner of this will also walk away with a Hippo – but for the cost of just £10.

the Hippos will be on show for one last time at Rutland County Museum throughout April”

Organisers of the event, raising money for the ABF The Soldiers' Charity and Arts for Rutland (to support local artists?), expect a sell-out and are advising purchasing your tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

The auction, hosted by TV star Julia Bradbury, takes place on Saturday May 21st at 7.30pm, as part of a Gala Dinner (5 piece band and 3 course meal) in the Officer’s Mess at St. George’s Barracks, North Luffenham.

Tickets cost £35 per person and include pre-dinner drinks and wine on the table.  Tables of 10 are available if you are planning on bringing a group.

Is this the sad reality for the future of Oakham and Rutland?

 Keep Out True Rutlanders Only!!!
Is this the sad reality for the future of Oakham and Rutland?

I recall when I first stood for Town Councillor in the North West Ward of Oakham,  Rutland County Councillor Mr Trevor Lovell (Independent) - OAKHAM NORTH WEST WARD said you dont live in the ward, so you should not stand?

Often the good people of the Rutland Chat forum would say your an outsider not born and bred in Rutland get lost!

On Tuesday a member of the public at Rutland County Councils planning meeting said the same very publicly to others present?

So if these people are so passionate about Rutland and in her case Oakham why don't they stand for Council? and lets have a Council controlled by people who don't want outsiders!

I shall look forward to seeing the boarder controls this minority of pickled people want to see.

Mr David Burton Wittering Taxi Driver

 Mr David Burton Wittering

I have just seen your comment, Are you feeling ok? not content with spreading lies, you now go further and falsely state I was sacked from my last employer for theft.

If you want the truth here it is:

I worked for a man who showed no respect for his customers or me. I left the job when he refered to me as a cunt to a sales representative, it was the final straw and we both agreed it would be best, if he said I had been made redundant. I had no intention of fighting an employer

I have not banned from public office.

You know who sent those photographs and they were not photographs of me!

I do wish you would seek help and your councillor friends should advise you to do so anyone reading your blog posts can see you are not well.

Cabby Dave said...Hi Chad, hope you're doing well. I have had a very busy weekend working, working and earning money thankfully! Which is not something Mr Brookes would know much about because he hasn't worked for years ever since he got the sack from a DIY store in Oakham for repeatedly dipping his fingers in the till. Pity his employer didn't ask for a criminal record check before he hired him otherwise he would have known Brookes already had a criminal record for theft.

In case people don't believe me about the indecent images, here is the newspaper report of his arrest:

http://www.stamfordmercury.co.uk/news/man_bailed_by_police_after_arrest_in_oakham_town_centre_1_674811

It appears this is also part of the reason why is is banned from being a councillor which you can read about here:

http://www.standardsforengland.gov.uk/CaseinformationReporting/SfEcasesummaries/Casesummaries/O/OakhamTownCouncil/Name,27426,en.asp

Funnily enough, I happened to be there at the time of his arrest and saw what happened. He had these disgusting photographs of his bottom with a carrot stuck in in (presumably he gave Pender his camera and a carrot and asked her to oblige) and he was standing there in the High St drawing people's attention to them and asking them to VOTE for him!!! The police came and took him away.

What Martin Brookes has to understand is that I am not frightened of a retarded pervert with a criminal record. I reckon a lot of people out there must have a good story to tell about him and his crazy friend Pender, so if anyone wants to tell me about it send it to: davescab@hotmail.co.uk. If it's credible and not too obscene I will be making stuff public so other people can be warned about these twisted sick peopleFebruary 27, 2011 6:00 AM

Councillor George Swiffin, Oakham, Town Council, Parkfield Road Oakham, Rutland

Councillor George Swiffin, Oakham, Town Council, Parkfield Road Oakham, Rutland I would like to congratulate Councillor Swiffin for his selfless actions.

Whilst other Parkfield Road residents have to look at steel baricades that protect the new Catmose Campus site, he ensured as any good selfless Oakham Town Councillor would, he demanded a much nicer wooden fence topped off with fancy trellis and this was provided.

As a Councillor surely he should have also considered his fellow residents need also.

Since Spire Homes purchased these properties on the cheap from Rutland County Council, they have made vast improvements, the change of paint colour from battle ship grey is the biggest improvement.

Rutland County Museum Oakham to sell 27 items

Rutland County Councils Cabinet will meet on Tuesday to approve selling or disposal of 27 items that used to be on show at Rutland County Museum.

Conservative Council Peter Jones portfolio holder for the Arts and Culture, would like the public to believe these items are junk. Many of these items were on display before his mini cinema destroyed our museum.

I came across many disappointed visitors, who found they could not visit the museum during half term because it was closed to show films.

It is my belief councillor Jones has no real interest in Arts and Culture, he might be keen to attend a reception for the free nibbles and booze but that is all!

I was very concerned to read in the budget cuts accepted and set by Councillor Peter Jones and his cabinet, no arts group will be awarded any grant from Rutland County Council in brackets accept (Arts for Rutland)
This elite group should be treated equal.Councillor Peter Jones is a committee member and Joy Everett is also a committee member. She also runs The Oakham Festival and meddled in The defunct Oakham Carnival, Oakham Town Council sometime ago adopted the same grant funding policy and give exclusivly to the Festival. They granted public funds without any knowledge of how the tax payers money will be spent.

I was wondering if Rutland County Council do the same and ask Councillor Jones to inform them at a later date how the funds are spent.

He is currently desperately seeking a £25,000 grant from the Arts Council to fund their joint summer event.

Last year he assisted in squandering a £100,000 grant, over half was spent on administration and publicity £37,000 on plastic hippos they can not afford to dispose of.

Whilst on the subject of Councillor Peter Jones, Could the respectable drunken ex mayor Mr Beech take a break from a "Piss Up in the Brewery" (from his facebook) and Visit Councillor Jones in the Chamber with a collection of ties and a comb.

Rutland County Council has a rule similar to the one Oakham town Council got rid off, men must wear ties! Councillor Peter Jones chooses to ignore this rule. If you don't want to put on a repeat performance at Rutland County Councils chamber, get your wife Carol to take them into work and give him a choice, if she is also sober and capable?

Roger Begy Conservative Leader of Rutland County Fishing for cash at Oakham Canal

Councillor Roger B Begy (Conservative) - GREETHAM WARD  (Leader of the Council) was seen out fishing at Oakham Canal with his wife yesterday. I thought he was practising for his retirement from May 5th, no I heard him say "I'm sure this is were we hid that other million!!, Helen will be so cross if we don't find it!" Mrs Begy said "did we not deposit it in that nice charity box on the bar at the
Wheatsheaf Greetham?"

Mr Begy and his wife departed and celebrated coming first for another year, even though his council did not increase council tax this year in order to receive the council tax freeze grant. The tax bill is still the highest in England.

Catmose New Campus College Community Hub Sports Centre Oakham Rutland Photographs

Catmose Campus College Community Hub Sports Centre Oakham Rutland many signs are appearing on site. I was wondering if these will remain, when the school obtains academy status to escape Councillor Heather Wells and the rest of the team at Rutland County Council. It is interesting when many school teachers are fighting to stay with their local authority Rutland Schools appear to be begging for Academy status.

The campus appears to be open, there is no external gates or fence but as you get closer you can see the very high security fence and  heavy gates at the main entrance, the whole campus is completely covered by the latest CCTV. most likely more secure than Ashwell Prison.

The build seems to use a lot of concrete and has a very industrial feel, this top part reminds me of a council estate awaiting demolition in Leicester. The building is much better than the old one.

Rutland County Council is likely to want some credit for this achievement.

The money came from central government, the builders came from outside Rutland.

The Landscapers and plants came from outside Rutland.

Even the Head Teacher is from Outside Rutland. Nice man, I wish him well in his new school and I hope his application to convert to an Academy is approve very soon.

Behind one of the bike racks is a Oakham Town Councillors home. The Big Little Build paid for a very long fancy wooden fence when he demanded one. Another nearby property got nothing. (sorry I could not resist this Councillor lives on benefits and has a new ADT home security system, how can he afford that?)

Nuclear Warfare at Rutland County Council.

The attached email shows nuclear war nearly broke out at Rutland Council last Christmas.

Councillor Mr Richard J Gale (Independent) - OAKHAM NORTH WEST WARD in an attempt to assist a member of the public suggested the council had failed her.

This made Councillor Mr Terry C King (Conservative) - EXTON WARD (Deputy Leader of the Council) overreact (email comment made by Geoff Pook to Helen Briggs Chief Executive)

It was decided the sub-nuclear option may be the preferred option.

At the same time the Council was embroiled in a huge row about Hawksmead.

Geoff Pook attempted to calm matters and Mrs Briggs the "Lean and Mean Queen"
said she did not agree with Geoff and is very angry with Councillor Gales behaviour.

This explains why she walked home and said she was attending an important meeting instead of attending the meeting to answer the public question.

Chief Executive Helen Briggs Orders Rutland County Council Staff to Ignore Times Headlines

Chief Executive Helen Briggs Orders Rutland County Council Staff, Ignore Rutland Times Headlines!

Rutland Councils Chief Executive told member of staff at this weeks staff meeting, ignore the Rutland Times headline?

Why? you just found £1 million in your draw. Surely the staff have a right to be annoyed, angry and questioning, when they read this. after all your about to sack 75 of them.

I am also told Helen Briggs is seen less by staff, she is changed woman. They can remember a much more pleasant Mrs Briggs who would warmly greet staff, but sadly no more.

Mrs Briggs once told the Guardian the "Council is Lean and Mean" what an extraordinary way to describe a public body, but not far from the truth!

Rutland County Councils Failure to Redact

A member of the public who has said she has been bullied by Rutland County Council for over two years, used the freedom of information act to obtain documents relating to her.

This includes e-mails sent my senior Councillors and Staff, its no surprise the e-mails make the council very stupid and unprofessional.. Mr Roger B Begy (Conservative) - GREETHAM WARD  (Leader of the Council) for example says things like "she slags people of" hardly the grammar you would expect from the leader.

One Councillor suggests to him it would be better if tape recordings of a meeting were to vanish!

I am more concerned about the one below my name was not redacted before it was sent out to this member of the public.

Geoff Pook head of legal services suggests to the Chief Executive Helen Briggs that Councillors will surely treat her in the same way they do Martin Brookes!

The lady asks what does this mean? I can only assume it means send her vile and explicit messages, make death threats and bully and harass her and call her a paedophile, What else could it been?

Rutland County Council say I can complain to the Chief Executive Helen Briggs about this serious breach, now that  is a joke!

It is good to see bully

Mr Terry C King (Conservative) - EXTON WARD (Deputy Leader of the Council) often chuck his rattle out of the pram Mr Pooks says "Terry's e-mail might be another case of where he might be making  to much of a thing"

The Council is shown in further emails to be unsure weather Mr King making a standards complaint about Councillor would be less nuclear than if Helen Briggs raised the complaint.

This document will be used at my Standard Tribunal to point out how for some reason Rutland County Council has treated me in a unknown special way?

Sainsbury's Oakham planning application has been 'referred up' to Full Council

The decision to refuse the Sainsbury's planning application has been 'referred up' to Full Council which means all 26 Councillors will now get the opportunity to make the final decision on the proposal for a new supermarket.

18 Conservatives the Council needs the money from Tresham from the sale of the college site, The site of the proposed Waitrose. I don't see there will be any change in the decision outcome. I hope Sainsbury will take this all the way to appeal and then this corrupt council can be exposed.

Rutland County Council needs the money from Tresham College to fund its post 16 Education. Something parents say Heather Wells Conservative has completely messed up.

It is interesting to see Rutland School teachers are not threatening strike action over academy status, it is clear they don't want this daft woman meddling in the education of the counties children.

The public discontent and anger was very visible when Rutland County Council and Tresham College nearly destroyed the post 16 education system here in Rutlland.

However, back to Sainsbury and the public anger for  is also huge! the responsibility for making the final decision has now been passed to Full Council after four Councillors (Gale, Oxley, Wainwright and Montgomery) asked for the original decision to be reconsidered.

Sainsbury’s have submitted plans for a new foodstore (including cafeteria) at the junction of Lands End Way and the Oakham Bypass. The application also includes details of a car park (240 spaces), landscaping and petrol filling station.

Members of the Development Control and Licensing Committee (DC&L) voted 4-3 and one tactical abstention by Conservative Terry King to turn down the application, with many acknowledging the high levels of public support, after consideration of a report from Planning Officers which recommended the supermarket plan was rejected for two main reasons.

The first reason was that the application site is designated for offices and/or industry warehousing in the Local Plan

Of course as we all know there is a shortage of office space all over the country. Uppinham has many empty office units so why build more here in Oakham?

The second reason was the out-of-town-centre location of the proposed supermarket.

Maybe they could demolish the Council offices and build there as Helen Briggs farms out more and more service to surrounding authorities I am not sure there will be a need for such a large site, she could control all the councils various departments located at Peterborough, Melton, Corby and Northampton.... from her garage or shed just up the road. What a saving that would be. But hang if all these other Councils are running Rutland why do we need her and all the other managers who are expected to work from home in the future.

Debate at the DC&L meeting focussed around alternative supermarket sites in the town, public support for the application, the potential impact on the town centre, loss of employment land, and the need for immediate jobs balanced against the long-term use of site.

This plot of land has been empty for many years as a member of the public shouted at the meeting, we need jobs now not maybe in ten years.

A record of the meeting with appear shortly on the council website.

A date for the meeting of Full Council that will consider the Sainsbury’s application will be announced shortly.

Maybe Tim Sainsbury could give Roger a call and we will see competition here in Oakham. The Conservatives have allowed Sainsbury to rip the heart out of the Worlds Second Garden City, Welwyn Garden City, so why not a little plot against a busy road.

Waitrose yes very nice store cater for the rich and poor, but advertising states: we have thousands of products the same as price Tesco. Why would anyone want another store offering the same as Tesco?

Here in Oakham we suffer from regional pricing as the large retailers like Tesco think we are all rich. If you pop to Tesco Melton you can spot the difference.

Rutland County Councillor Mr Peter W Jones (Conservative) - OAKHAM SOUTH WEST WARD is forever knocking the west end of Oakham. He did it again at Tuesday's Council meeting

I don't understand why, just because the road he trades from is home for some traders who charge inflated prices and assume  that this is a sign of quality.

The West End does not look like this, nor does it look like Mill Street.

Below are some photographs of part of Oakham High Street and Mill Strret.

His mates from the old Rutland forum would often mock Melton Mowbray even though you won't find sights like this there.
