Kirkee House, Paul Beech, Former Oakham Mayor, Advertising Standards Authority, misleading advertising

Former Oakham Mayor and Town Councillor Paul Beech fails to comply with informal resolution agreed with the Advertising Standards Authority.

After consideration by the ASA of complaints received, he agreed to amend or withdraw advertising without the need for a formal investigation: the ASA gave one month before publication.

Although Mr & Mrs Beech run a nice B&B it is very hard to understand why they would attempt
to mislead customers by claiming the AA has awarded them four stars.

Located a short walk from Oakham town centre, Kirkee House provides
attractive en-suite
bedrooms, freshly cooked breakfasts, individually  prepared from locally
sourced produce,
all served in the elegant  conservatory/dining room which overlooks the
pretty garden.

Paul Beech, Former, Oakham Mayor, known by Laughing Stocks

Earlier I published a message received from ex Oakham Mayor Paul Beech's brother.

Paul Beech disputes part of his brothers message.

Does Mr Beech send me an email? No

He chose to release a statement to a local criminal blogger who the police say are attempting
to trace in a hope they are also responsible for other crimes.

The author of the  blog claims:

Laughing Stocks received today the following message which, having checked its authenticity, we have agreed to post since the Nobody in question in it doesn't allow a right of reply on his 'blog'

I have pointed a out a link to one of Mr Beech's friends and so far Leicestershire police have not followed the
lead to Mr Harrison. Why?

Message to a Nobody

Laughing Stocks received today the following message which, having checked its authenticity, we have agreed to post since the Nobody in question in it doesn't allow a right of reply on his 'blog'

Dear Oakham Laughing Stocks,

Through your blog pages could you post that I agree with Martin Brookes that I was never a Royal Marine please. This is the only time he has ever said something that is remotely true about me.

What I would like to say though is that I successfully completed the army commando course in April of 1966 and completed the parachute course in 1967.  My parent regiment was, and still is, 29 Commando Regiment RA.  All those that doubt this should check my cap badge and not just the colour of my beret.

I have two decorations that I wear on my left breast, that of the GSM 1962 for South Arabia and the bar is for Dhofar in 1973/4.  The other two medals on that side are from the Sultan of Oman's Armed Forces (SOAF).  I wear all of these decorations quite legitimately.  I completed my 9 year engagement on the 12th October 1974 and left with an 'Exemplary' record.

I claimed, quite rightly, my grandfather’s medals with the permission of my mother and all the relevant immediate family, some 18 years ago.  I have worn them with pride ever since on every occasion I can.  28386 Cpl JC Carr (RGA) served throughout WW1 and was wounded in 1914.  He did not serve in three campaigns, as was stated on Martin Brookes's Blog, but in one only, The First World War.

If there are those that doubt the authenticity of this little nugget of truth then can I suggest that you visit me at my home and we will discuss the matter in depth.  Preferably after dark.

Regards,

Paul Beech GSM & Bar, BA (Crim)

Paul Beech, Former Oakham Mayor, Never a Royal Marine?

Paul Beech, Former Oakham Mayor, Never a Royal Marine?

Christopher Beech

Dear Mr. Brookes, I find your comments regarding Paul Beech ,inaccurate and your grammer** is very poor.

I hope you have little to do with allocating funds to schools and education.

I know Paul Beech very well and he was not in the 'Royal Marines'. Paul Anthony Beech is wearing the medals of my grandfather, not his father (he was a barber by trade).

My grandfather fought and survived three campaignes*of the great war. Pip, Squeek and Wilfred are the names given to the three medals on Mr. Beech's right lapell*** Mr. Paul Anthony Beech disgraces the memory of my grandfather by usurping a tradition in order to make a point. What a nob, or knob, however you to spell it. He may look heavy but he ain't my brother except through birth. My mother would be HORRIFIED.

Mr Beech has often said he was a marine so who am I to doubt his
own brother when he says this is not the truth.

Mr Beech once told me he was trained in the Marines to kill with  his bare hands and he could do it again.

The former Mayor of Oakham and bully was fined £80 for his conduct on remembrance day last year.

Oakham, Remembrance Sunday 2012, The Royal British Legion, ABF The Soldiers Charity, Paul Beech, The Royal Marines, Photographs

Pictured Right Mr Paul Beech Former Oakham Mayor, Area organiser for the
ABF Soldiers Charity.
Usually Mr Beech keeps his bullying and intimidation cowardly private
but not today, enjoying the protection of Leicestershire Constabulary
he decided to bring his despicable conduct out into public.
The Conservative Chairman of Rutland County Council  Cllr Parsons
was visible upset, when I showed him the photograph, He said "I am very upset,
that is my wife beside Mr Beech" It is not Mrs Parsons fault she is married to
a Tory so I agreed to hide her in this image, a pity as she has such a lovely smile.

Oakham Mayor Cllr  Alf Dewis Said "Mr Beech is not a dignitary any more and  I think this is the point I am meant to say no comment"'

Deputy Mayor Cllr Adam Lowe expressed his shock.

Various Army Officers pointed out "he is in uniform" one asked me "you're not going to publish it, we have a reputation to upkeep"

For far to long now, I have been bullied intimidated and subjected to malicious conduct by the likes of Mr Beech and local governance supported by Leicester Constabulary.

Mr Beeches conduct today is a betrayal of the fallen.

Self-styled local dignitary ex Oakham Town Council Mayor Paul Beech who claims to be a leading
"respectable" citizen of the county town of Rutland and  Regional Organiser of the Army Benevolent Fund, the Soldiers  Charity, saw fit to raise two rude fingers - complementing the gesture with colourful language, directed at the camera,
while dressed in a regimental green beret of the Royal Marines and sporting his own and his father's
medals.

although I have often been sent invitations by real dignitaries to photograph these sorts of events, ex mayor Beech always appears to be quite antagonistic when he spots this cameraman.

Such a pity he feels it necessary to spoil an otherwise dignified and solemn occasion with his lewd language and inappropriate gesture.

His betrayal of those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom is a sad betrayal.

Paul Beech, Independent, Oakham North West Ward, Rutland County Council, Elections

Paul Beech, Independent, Oakham North West Ward, Rutland County Council, Elections

It has been confirmed this week Paul Beech has not only been bullying me he has also been bullying Oakham Town Mayor Sharon Spencer.

After this week pointless Annual Town Council meeting, I had a long chat with Councillor Sharon Spencer who said She know longer communicates with him, because "he had often been very rude and nasty to her"

It is about time more people spoke out and named all the local Tory bullies.

It is clear Mr Beech is not a true independent, record shows he and his wife signed Conservative Councillor Peter Jones papers at the last election.

Mr Beech has taken recently taken to signing his e-mails Beechy. I believe this also clearly shows there is something very wrong with his behaviour.

So I suggest voters think very hard before voting for him.

Mr Beech has recently set his facebook to private I have know idea why? he and his mates claim to be a better persons than me. I think this face book post of his explains why I say all the bullies like him are drunks, his own words below prove it.

Went into uni last week to collect more books but it just piles up. I haven't had time to type anything up. I'm reading my notes and listening to some seminars I recorded, and it's far too much for an old man - it's a nightmare. Carol and... me are off to a piss-up in a brewery on Friday with a few of my ex army mates, including Brian, so I don't think I'll be doing much studying over the weekend. We are driving down to Dorset on Friday with a couple of nights in a nice hotel and off to the Badger Brewery for a mates 60th birthday on Saturday. The daytime won't be sober either. It's not all bad though, I'll be pretty senceless on Monday when I have my shoulder injected to rid it of the pain, not that after the weekend it's likely to have any feeling in it anyway. When you asked about external reading, did you mean outside. It's been raining here and I thought the pages would get wet.

Paul Beech, Rutland County Council, Oakham North West Ward Election

I posted this earlier today http://martinbrookes.blogspot.com/2011/04/rutland-county-council-greetham-ward.html

To my surprise Paul Beech e-mailed me.

Please note his continued refusal to refrain from calling me Brookesy.

No where in that post do I say he is responsible for the posters.

My personal experience of Mr Beech is he is a nasty little bully and in the past had the local police under his thumb, if I mentioned his name he would shout harassment and his buddies at Oakham police station would wave sheet of paper at me.

Mr Beech remember your threats towwards me started some time ago at the beating of the retreat and that was well documented.

You then approached Richard White at Oakham Town Council and asked what the council was going to do to get rid of me just before my first meeting.

Then there was your performance at a meeting that resulted in you donating a large bag of ties. You tell everyone it was a joke, the only joke is you. You actions have always been that of a bully, the army taught you well, your constant misuse of my name is another example of this.

Its a pity the only place you ignore me is when you are at work at the fish counter at, Tesco could you not extend that to out of work also.

As we all know Mr Beech along with his wife was a Tory supporter at the 2007 elections, they both proposed Conservative Councillor Peter Jones back then.

He claims to be Independent now. It has been said once a Tory always a Tory.

Oakham North West Ward Paul Beech

This morning I received e-mails from one of the candidates
for the Oakham North West West Ward.
Paul Beech Independent, Of course independent is questionable?
when records show he and his wife proposed Conservative Peter Jones
at the 2007 elections. I don't want to lower myself to the behaviour
I have been subjected to for some time now by local Conservative
supporters including Conservative Roger Begy's supporters and their
recent poster campaign.

I would like to point out to voter Mr Beech's lack of manners and
disrespect towards me.

After I questioned why Mr Beech was sending me so many emails this
morning along with a request he refrains from refering to me as Brooksey
or Brookes he sent the following e-mail from his Leicester University
Computer where he struggles to study criminology.(facebook entry)
As you can see he continues to show a total lack of respect and calls
me once again Brooksey. If voters of the Oakham North West Ward expect
respect, can I suggest they put there cross in Richard Gales box.

Email received 9.39am 21:04:2011

I can promise you won’t get any more Brooksey

I did warn Mr Beech it may not be advisable for him, to be sending his e-mails during his campaign.
So I don't think he can not complain when I publish the last one to show voters his character.

Looks as if he and his wife had fun a recent charity event.

After his recent Facebook admissions you would think drink would not be something to joke about.

I hope he and his good wife took a cab home.

Antiquated Student - Happy New Year

 Helen Penders Blog Click Here

A plae is being made for local people to stand in the forthcoming Council elections in May - Martin Brookes has all the information on his blog. However following that plea I thought it might, by way of a little New Year hilarity, be amusing to share a face book entry on ex-Councillor Beech's facebook page. In answer to a question about whether Paul Beech had done much external reading on his Criminology course at Leicester University Paul Beech wrote the following reply:

From - Paul Beech

If antiquated students of this calibre are gaining entry to University then perhaps we are right to limit student intake.

Mr Beech Oakham Sorry!

Dear Members

I would like to past on to you all, Mr Paul Beech telephoned the office this morning to apologise to Sharon and myself for his conduct at the Annual Town Meeting last night, which I have accepted.

Kind regards

Allison Greaves

Assistant Clerk

Oakham Town Council

Tel 01572 723627

I will never accept Mr Beech is sorry. His conduct is always in my view unacceptable.

Mr Beech has asked me to correct a Blog entry. This can not be corrected, because Mr Beech was behaving irresponsible I asked him to leave he refused and I requested the police assist with his removal.

Mr Beech is happy to behave in a private place as he feels fit and partake in online cowardly bullying and portray a dignified public image. Well  I am afraid Mr Beech you won't silence me! another point you are the only person who address's me as Brookes. I suggest you think very hard and review your behaviour and conduct and have a word with your friends. I can't afford the sex aids so they should not don't bother to send the explicit me material.

Now be a good boy Paul and go away! and leave me alone
